Two days before Veterans Day, a Seneca Falls soldier who was killed in action during the Korean War will be remembered and buried Friday.
Corporal Elmer Kidd, of Seneca Falls, served in both the Army and Navy.
Kidd was killed in action in 1950, but had been unidentified until DNA testing confirmed who he was last month. His remains were returned to his only living sibling on Tuesday.
A funeral service will be held at Sanderson Moore Funeral Home in Seneca Falls Friday morning at 11.
A burial service with full military honors will be held at 1245 at the Sampson Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Romulus.
