ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- For the second time in two weeks, Rochester City Police are investigating a shooting at 238 Lexington Avenue. This latest one happened just after noon on Wednesday.
Police say a male victim was shot in his upper and lower torso. The victim was taken to Strong Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are not commenting on whether this shooting is related to a shooting last week at the same address, but they are warning neighbors.
"Any time you have an incident like this, it's very, very serious. There are children that live in this neighborhood. So just want to make sure that you're aware, and obviously these can be very tragic. So working with the community to come forward, help us solve this, so we can prevent things like this from happening in the future," said Sgt. Justin Collins, Rochester Police Department.
Less than two weeks ago, a 22-year-old woman was shot while sitting in the living room of 238 Lexington Avenue. Her condition is stable. Police are continuing their investigation.
