ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- A tentative agreement has been reached on new labor contract terms between University of Rochester service workers and administrators. This, after four months of collective bargaining between employee and management representatives.
Negotiations that began in mid-August were joined by a Federal Mediator, and the contract which expired September 22nd was extended several times.
The tentative agreement reached Monday must now be approved by a vote of union membership. The ratification vote is scheduled for late November.
