Local students will now have chance at a new degree from Bryant and Stratton College.
For the first time in the Rochester area, the college will offer a bachelor's degree in health services administration. The new classes will also be in a new 33,000 square foot facility in Greece set to open in January.
College leaders say about 20 students are currently enrolled in the program that's designed to prepare grads for entry-level assistant management positions in the health care industry.
"There will be managing, things ranging from patient care to groups of teams managing budgets, making sure the facility is moving along the way that it should, from a support perspective, from a leadership perspective... and medical assistants," said Marc Ambrosi, Greece Campus Director.
Tuition for the four years averages about $65,400.
Bryant and Stratton also announced its Health and Services in Action initiative, which includes four community partnerships with local non-profits.
