Fire tore through a vacant home in Rochester just before 5 p.m. Thursday. The Rochester Fire Department called a second alarm.
"The second alarm because of the size of the building and the amount of fire exposure that was being seen at the time, they decided to get more personal to fight the fire," said Lt. Edward Kuppinger, Rochester Fire Department.
As bad as the damage was, firefighters said the vacant house is still structurally sound.
No injuries were reported during the fire.
