More than 200 families are getting toys for Christmas thanks to a local charity in Brockport.
The Brockport Toy Shelf held its 12th annual toy drive Saturday supporting over 600 children in the Brockport school district.
Parents were able to come and select new toys that were bought or donated by the Toy Shelf committee.
Each child was given at least two gifts, a hat and glove set and a book.
Committee members say the best part is when those who once needed the charity are able to come back help.
"People are very appreciative," said Ruthann Tryka, committee member. "A lot of time people that come and receive gifts one year, when their situation gets a little bit better they come back as volunteers."
The non-profit organization had more than 100 volunteers for this years drive.
