One Rochester police officer was sent to the hospital for evaluation Friday night after his car rear-ended another car on South Goodman Street. The crash happened near the Harvard Street intersection.

According to Rochester Police, the officer was responding to a call with lights and siren, when the second car pulled out in front. The crash sent the second car over a curb, barely missing a house.

No one was seriously injured in the crash.

No word yet on any possible charges.
