Police have arrested two teenagers they said were involved in a home invasion robbery in which a person was seriously assaulted.
Jimmy Briggs, 16, and Shakier Ficklin, 16 are accused of entering a home on Remington Street in Rochester around 10 p.m. Thursday.
Police say when they arrived, officers removed the victim from the home. They soon learned that the suspects were still inside the home. Police say they located Briggs and Ficklin hiding in the basement of the home.
Both are charged with first degree robbery, first degree burglary and second degree assault.
The victim is listed in stable condition at Strong Hospital.
